Why???

Why? This is a question that will gain you knowledge and also get you in trouble. LOL  I posted this on my Facebook page a few days ago. The amazing thing is that in our society the people who tend to ask this question on a regular basis are considered difficult or even anti-social.  I am a little bit of a conspiracy theorist  on certain things. But I wont get into that for now. People who believe or even trust our government whole heartily are very naive. Now I am  not anti-government , but like every house sometimes its good to clear the trash out once in a while. Some of you say, well we vote. This is true but look at the choices that we have. Not exactly what I would call cream of the crop. These people are supposed to represent us, but are they really? Could they just be attending to their own agendas? Of course they are and if you cant see it then you are either turning your head or blind. Now here comes part of the conspiracy, our media doesn't tell us the whole story all the time. This is an example of like history books, only the winners write the ending. Sometimes we have to dig deeper in order to see the whole picture. This is where the question WHY? is so dangerous, most people know better but still believe what they are told. You know that logically it could never be true the way it is presented. Common sense kicks in and throws up a red flag, but yet we brush it aside and go with the flow. Only in the last maybe 6-8 years have people started to wake up and seeing whats in front of them. People have always been around questioning things. Now the numbers are starting to grow in leaps and bounds. As a middle aged man I have seen a lot in the short time I have been here. When people start to challenge what this country was founded on it is very scary. There is a reason that we are taught history in school. Its so we know the mistakes that were made in the past and hopefully not make them again. To me it seems that the people running our country forgot this or was asleep  during history class. Now I don't have all the answers on how to fix all the problems, but I do know a few thing that just make common sense to me. And here are a couple 1. If you want to balance the budget allow the people to vote whether or not the senate and the house of reps get a raise. In most companies you get a raise based off your performance and how well you do you job. Why not them , They work for us ,we are the ones who pay them. Makes sense doesn't it? 2.First if my house and my neighbors house is broke, I'm gonna fix mine first. It should be the same  for this country. We have problems here that need to be resolved ,then and only then should we take care of other countries.  I could go on with an entire laundry list of things , but this enough for now.  Now I read the other day our president is taking a 5% cut in pay per month I believe. I know that some people believe this is his way of making an effort. But in reality its a joke, he is worth millions. So the approximately $1200 a month is like him buying a pack of gum at the gas station. Bill Gates one of the richest men in the world gave Half....yes I said Half of his fortune to charity. There are CEO's out there that have reduced their yearly salary to a $1 in order to help their company . I think the people in our government to take a lesson from some of these people. But hey what do I know, right. This is all my opinion you may or may not agree and that is fine. I have no Idea how to get our country out of the problems that we are in , but  I think that have some good ideas of where to start. Or maybe I am full of it. Who knows, all I know is what they are doing really isn't working very well. Until next time .
